We specialize in Pratt & Whitney and Honeywell engines with specific focus on Pratt & Whitney 535, PT6, JT15D, Honeywell HTF 7000 and TFE731. POSITION SUMMARY

N1, LLC is actively seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at our facility in Morgantown, WV. This role requires superior attention to detail and will be responsible for all aspects of turbine engine maintenance.

 

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Perform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements
  • Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install of replacement parts and testing aircraft system
  • Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments
  • Complete all required maintenance records in an accurate manner to include accurately reporting of times required to accomplished the tasks assigned
  • Must support all company policies and safety programs to include OSHA, EPA, and FAA regulations
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints
  • Present a clean and neat work area
  • Demonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to the internal/external customer
  • Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned

 

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required
  • Minimum of 2-5 years directly related aviation experience (corporate engine experience preferred)
  • Good working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations Part 145 and 135
  • Must be willing and able to travel
  • Honeywell HTF 7000 series, Pratt & Whitney 500 series, and Honeywell TFE731 engine experience highly desired

 

Required Skills

  • Successful candidate will be highly motivated and work effectively under pressure and time constraints
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs as well as comfortable with completing documentation as required by FAA and N1 policies
  • Possess proven inspection competencies
  • Must be detailed-oriented and well organized; demonstrate excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Must want to be integrally involved with a young growing company and be flexible to the changing needs of the business
  • Must be willing to travel
